This review is from: Infinity Reference 612m 6.5-Inch 225-Watt High-Performance 2-Way Marine Loudspeaker (Pair) (Electronics) If you are ok with crystal clear 6.5" high and mid bass sound that is not packaged in a standard whitewash grill then look no further. Knowing now what a difference these upgrades made to my system I would happily have paid full price but getting them for $80 with free shipping to the door from Amazon... What a deal! I am running them straight off my deck (basic Dual CD) with no crossover so I can only imagine what running them through an amp/crossover would make. The only thing I would recomend is being a bit cautious when driving the stainless screws - two stripped out pretty easily. I just used two original screws from the old speakers so it created no hassle for me. I can't believe that I thought those old speakers sounded good. The sound quality of these blows them away. The bass is great, too. They are a major improvement to what I had. I would highly recommend these speakers. I call it my upholstery apprenticeship. I know why custom upholstery costs so much now. It looks sweet now and sounds even better. These speakers sound so clear, even at excessively high volumes (OH MY!) I hooked them up to the Sony marine CD player CDXM60OUI. I couldn't be happier.
